Wanted to post a quick update as to what we’ve been up to. First and foremost, THANK YOU to those who have prayed for us as we began this journey! There have already been numerous circumstances that Marcos and I have looked at each other and said, “people are praying for us”. It is just evident in the way the Lord is taking care of every detail along our path. Thank you for being faithful in your prayers!
We have been incredibly busy traveling, meeting people, and sharing our ministry over the past 3 months and we are so excited that God has brought financial partners alongside us to bring our ongoing support to 44%! It has been so encouraging to see people jump on board as God lays it on their heart and to have people excited about the work that God is doing around the world. So another huge THANK YOU to all of you who have committed to supporting us financially!! If you’d like to give to support our ministry but haven’t done so yet, you can go to maf.org/souza.
The kids have surprised us over and over with their flexibility and how well they’ve done with the disruption of their schedules and the amount of time we’ve spent with people. We know that has been another answer to prayer. Zoe has learned to sleep just about anywhere! 😉
We are still living in our house in Oklahoma City, although it won’t feel like it this summer. Over the next few months, we will be traveling  through Texas and Oklahoma as well as Florida, Arkansas, Colorado and Idaho! Our tentative plan is to sell our house at the end of the summer and move to Texas for the remainder of the year. The logistics of packing, selling, and moving are weighing on us so please keep that all in your prayers.
This past Sunday, we had the privilege of sharing at my home church back in Sherman, TX. where we received so much encouragement and support. We were prayed over and sent out by the church and just feel so blessed to have such a wonderful body of believers backing us along with so many others!
(This guy has been a big help setting up and tearing down at churches!)
This coming week, Marcos will head to Kansas for PT6 training for a week and will be joined by one of our Ecuadorian coworkers, David. We would appreciate prayer for him as he learns all that he needs to at the training as well as for the language barrier between him and David to be minimized and that they would begin building a good working relationship in spite of it.
Thank you for your prayers and support. We couldn’t do this without you guys!
Maddie
It’s been such a blessing to see God’s fingerprints on everything.
